Homemade white bread in the oven with semolina and salted peanuts
Even an inexperienced cook can easily cook homemade white bread in the oven with semolina and salted peanuts in an hour! This is a yeast-free bread, for the preparation of the dough you will need only baking powder and soda. Therefore, you don’t have to knead the dough and wait until it rises, as is the case with yeast or sourdough. Nevertheless, the loaves of bread turn out so delicious that a small family gobbles up a loaf literally in a day! Try to bake it!

- 400 g high-grade wheat flour (+ flour for sprinkling);
- 100 g semolina;
- 50 g of roasted salted peanuts;
- 400 ml of yogurt;
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- ½ teaspoon of soda;
- 10 g of sugar;
- 3 g of salt.

Sift through a sieve wheat flour of the highest grade, otherwise this flour is called "strong". We add baking soda and baking powder to the flour.

Add semolina to dry ingredients.
Pour out roasted salted peanuts onto a board, knead with a rolling pin to make small nut crumbs. Add the peanuts in a bowl to the flour and semolina.
Pour cold yogurt, pour on the yogurt fine salt and sugar. For this recipe of home-made white bread, not only yogurt is suitable, but also almost any sour-milk product - kefir, fermented yogurt. If you need to bake sweet bread, then sweet yogurt will do.
Knead the dough quickly. You can mix with a spoon or cook the dough in a food processor with a hook attachment. I don’t advise kneading it with your hands, because, firstly, the dough is sticky and will completely stick around your hands, and secondly, for this, the bread does not need to knead the dough for a long time.

Sprinkle flour on the desktop and spread the dough on it, sprinkle generously with flour on top, form a flat loaf cake.

We heat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius. Put a cake on a baking sheet, slightly flatten it with your palm, so that the thickness is 4-5 centimeters. It’s better to use a non-stick pan for baking this home-made white bread;
With a wide knife, cut through the cake several times through as shown in the photo. The dough will stick to the knife, so the knife needs to be moistened with water and rinsed with cold water.
Sprinkle the cut loaf again with flour. In order not to overdo it, I advise pouring flour through a fine sieve.
Put the pan on the middle level of a hot oven for 40 minutes. The readiness of bread can be checked as follows: turn over the finished bread and gently tap on the bottom. If the sound is "empty", then baked, if not, then return to the oven for a few more minutes.

Homemade white bread in the oven with semolina and salted peanuts is ready. We spread the bread on a wire rack, cool. If you cool the pastries on a flat surface, then in the process of cooling the lower crust will become damp and will not be crispy, but this is the most important feature of homemade bread - crisp!
